Late Dec.21, provincial Military Command held a meeting to mark the 66th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army (Dec.22, 1944-Dec.22, 2010) and the 21st anniversary of All People National Defense Day (Dec.22, 1989-Dec.22, 2010).
At the meeting, participants reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army over periods and reminded the young generation today to further preserve and bring into play this tradition. Along with people and army across the country, provincial armed forces overcame difficulties, hardship and were ready to struggle and sacrifice for national independence and liberty…
During the renewal period, provincial armed forces have continued to be built strongly and comprehensively; been always ready for combat; worked with other forces in maintaining the national order and security. There have also appeared a lot of exemplary role-models in the “all-people national defense” campaign, contributing to ensuring the local order and security, defeating all schemes against the Vietnamese revolution…Many collectives and individuals in the province were also presented the certificates of merit for their achievements in the campaign.
On this occasion, Nguyen Thanh Hai, head of anti-crime club of TDM town’s Phu Hoa ward was also awarded the third-class Feat of Arms Order for his excellent achievements in combating crime (photo).
