Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism yesterday held a get-together to mark the 68th Traditional Day of the cultural and information sector (August 28, 1945-August 28, 2013), in attendance of leaders of the sector over periods, leaders of many other sectors together with all staff of the sector.

Addressing the get-together, Nguyen Van Loc, Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the sector’s staff have always been proud of the glorious tradition of the sector. Upholding the good tradition, the local cultural and information sector has determined to fulfill 2013’s targets; further implemented the Party Central Committee (PCC) 5th meeting resolution, term VIII, on “building and developing an advanced culture deeply imbued with national identity”; promoted the campaign of “The entire people unite to build a cultural life”…

Participating delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the sector over the past 68 years. Upholding this, the sector’s staff today have actively implemented the Party and State’s action programs, directives, policies and laws on developing cultural, sports and tourism activities; preserving and upholding cultural heritages; building up well-off, equal, advanced and happy families…
