Province’s export turnover continues growing

The province's export turnover in February was estimated at US$2.66 billion, up 42.7% and 25.7 against the previous month and the same period, respectively, according to provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT). In the first two months of the year, the province’s export turnover was US$ 4.53 billion. Import turnover in February was estimated at more than US$2billion, up 30.9% and 29.2% against the previous month and the same period, respectively. The figure in the first 2 months of the year was more than US$3.63 billion.

According to provincial DoIT, the signals in the first two months of the year showed positiveness when import and export turnover gradually regained its growth momentum. Province-based enterprises resumed operation to fulfill previously signed export orders. Besides, trade agreements that have come into force are also being used relatively well by businesses.
