* 2012 summer Youth Volunteer Campaign reviewed

Provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union, on Sept.12, forwarded a conference to partially sum up its activities in the first nine months of 2012.

In the first nine months of the year, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union actively implemented many action programs in association with the contents on political and thought education, law dissemination…Noticeably, the Youth Union got involved in many activities for the sake of the community, including mobilizing youths to donate 287 units of blood; providing free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for 600 poor people and policy beneficiaries in Phu Giao district’s An Thai commune, Tan Uyen district’s Thanh Hoi commune, Duong Minh Chau district’s Truong Mit commune in Tay Ninh province with a total expense of nearly VND45mln; awarded 50 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils…

Phan Minh Hung, Deputy Secretary of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Party Committee instructed the bloc’s Youth Union and its affiliates  to further uphold their achievements and actively fulfill the set targets of the year. 14 collectives and 61 individuals were also honored for their achievements in the Youth Union task of the bloc in the first nine months of the year.

*The same day, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Steering Board for the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign also reviewed its activities during 2012’s summer. 9 collectives and 23 individuals were also honored for their good performance in this campaign.
