Provincial Customs Department yesterday held a dialogue with around 75 out of 250 representatives of the European and U.S enterprises that are now operated in the province. The dialogue was seen as an effort by provincial Customs Department to listen and give time solutions to queries and hurdles of province-based business enterprises.

At the dialogue, leaders of provincial Customs Department and relevant agencies directly answered participating enterprises’ queries on procedures for goods import export while saying that from now on, all used machines and equipment would be imported into Vietnam.

It is known that advice from the Ministry of Science and Technology is needed for cases that have completed import procedures for used machines and equipment. Provincial Customs Department is also suggesting higher authorities to offer help to the above cases, helping soon bring such machines and equipment to enterprises to be preserved as stipulated.
