Early May 23, Vo Van Minh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council, Chairman of provincial Election Committee attended the opening ceremony of the elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure at the polling station No.6 in Hiep Thanh ward’s quarter 6 in Thu Dau Mot city. Also attending the ceremony were Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the city’s Party Committee, Head of the city’s Election Steering Committee.

Voters at the polling station No.6 strictly follow the 5K message of the Ministry of Health

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Le Cong Tien, Head of the quarter 6’s Fatherland Front Board, Head of the Polling Station said that the elections take place when the 13th National Party Congress has just ended successfully. The great success is strongly encouraging the entire Party, army and people to continue striving to soon turn Vietnam into a developed, high-income, socialist-oriented country. The elections have great significance in the social life of the country. Through the elections, the people exercise their right to mastery by their ballots, selecting National Assembly and all-level People's Council deputies who have capacity and qualifications to perform the task of representing the will and aspirations, right to mastery of the people. That is very important for the country and each locality.

Voters at quarter 6 exercise their citizenship

After the opening ceremony, Mr. Minh and delegates exercised their citizenship. Voters from the groups 76 to 88 of quarter 6 in Hiep Thanh ward, in turn, casted ballots to choose virtuous and talented deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure. Mr. Tien said that the whole quarter has a total of 2,375 voters, most of them are ready to vote in accordance with regulations while strictly following measures against Covid-19 pandemic under the 5K message of the Ministry of Health.
