Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee welcomes leader of Singapore’s CapitaLand Development Group
At the meeting, Mr. Jason Leow said that this is the group's first real estate investment project in Binh Duong. Vietnam is a potential market. In the coming time, the group will increase investment in terms of data, logistics centers in Vietnam; focus on sustainable and green development. The group hopes that there will be many investment projects in Binh Duong in the near future.
Mr. Minh said provincial leaders have always created favorable conditions for enterprises to work. Currently, investors’ housing demand is very large, so provincial leaders are looking forward to finding many qualified investors to develop urban areas like Phu My Hung urban area in Ho Chi Minh city. In fact, Binh Duong has been a locality attracting many real estate investors in recent 3 years. The province has been supported by the Government to implement a series of large projects connecting with Ho Chi Minh city such as: the belt road 3 (it is expected that localities will coordinate to complete the implementation by 2025 while Binh Duong will complete this by 2024); the belt road 4 (up to now, the province has implemented 60% of its volume).
He expressed his wish that the group will soon deploy its 20-hectare project and further research and invest in other areas like the ones along the Saigon River. Currently, Becamex IDC Corporation takes the lead in terms of logistics, industrial real estate, data center in the province. Provincial leaders believe that Becamex IDC and CapitaLand Development Group will work closely to develop together.
