Provincial MoIC awarded the emulation banner 2016

Provincial Department of Information and Communications (DoIC), on January 6, held a conference to review its activities in 2016 and devise tasks for 2017, in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

In 2016, provincial MoIC advised provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee on promulgating management texts in the domains of press, publishing, post-telecommunications and information technology (IT). Press agencies in the province deeply and widely disseminated the outcomes of the 12^th National Party Congress and its Resolutions, preparatory work for the election of deputies to the 14^th National Assembly, People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2020 tenure and great holidays.

The province’s post-telecommunications infrastructure continued being improved at the State, enterprises and locals’ demand for information and communications. Application of IP at State agencies in the province also obtained high efficiency…

Speaking at the conference, Mr.Hung suggested provincial DoIC to concretize its tasks to be able to effectively realize the Resolution No.36 and Directive No.01 of the Ministry of Information-Communications (MoIC); well propagandize the 2^nd provincial “don ca tai tu” (Amateur singing) festival; coordinate with relevant units to implement a plan on smart city development; boost application of IP at State agencies…

On this occasion, the MoIC also awarded the emulation banner 2016 to provincial MoIC (photo) and the mementoes “For the cause of information-communications” to 13 outstanding individuals. Provincial MoIC also presented the certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 12 individuals with achievements in the “Radio Station” emulation bloc.
