Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee survey anti-epidemic work in Ben Cat Town

To implement the decision of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee on assigning members of Provincial Party Standing Committee to monitor and direct the anti-epidemic work, on July 7, Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee, surveyed the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Ben Cat Town.

According to report of Ben Cat Town People's Committee, the town currently has more than 70 Covid-19 cases, of which the number of Covid-19 cases in the community is 30. The town has requisitioned three schools as concentrated isolation areas; organized two Covid-19 treatment areas, are checking and preparing isolation areas in a number of companies in the area.

The town has received 360 people for concentrated isolation and 1,900 people are isolating at home. The town's People's Committee established a patrol team and three checkpoints to check and control the outbreak in the area.

At the meeting with Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention Control in Ben Cat Town, Truong Thi Bich Hanh asked the town continue to effectively implement the 4-on-the-spot things in the Covid-19 prevention and control; focus on protecting areas without epidemic, especially in enterprises and industrial parks; strengthen the local initiative in preparing response scenarios when the epidemic develops complicatedly.

He noted recommendations and suggestions of the town and would promptly report to Provincial Party and Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

On this occasion, AgriBank Ben Cat Branch and customers donated 100 million VND to Ben Cat Town (photo); Phuc Cuong Company donated 50 million VND to equip medical supplies for anti-epidemic work.
