Provincial Steering Board of Collective Economic Development works with Ben Cat

Early September 7, a delegation of provincial Steering Board of Collective Economic Development, led by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee cum Deputy Head of the Steering Board, worked with Ben Cat district about the local collective economic development.

Since early this year, Ben Cat town has set up 2 cooperatives, bringing the total number of the local cooperatives operating under the Cooperative Law 2012, beyond the set target. The town is home to 11 cooperatives with 132 members, mainly operating in agricultural production together with some linkage groups… Along with results done, the local collective economy still faced shortcomings for change.

Speaking at the working session, Mr.Liem acknowledged the local achievements in collective economy over the past time. He also suggested the town to boost propaganda; further pay attention to orientation for collective economic development; replicate this model, contributing to promoting the local economic development…
