Provincial Tax Department extends deadline for tax payment and land rent in 2023

Right after the Government issued Decree No. 12/2023/ND-CP dated April 14, 2023 on extending the deadline for payment of value added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT), and land rent in 2023, effective from the date of signing to the end of December 31, 2023, Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department has sent an official letter to businesses, production and business households, and individual tax payers in the province.

Accordingly, a six-month extension for VAT amounts from March to May 2023 and the first quarter of 2023, five-month extension for VAT amounts of June 2023 and the second quarter of 2023, four-month for VAT amounts for July 2023, three-month for VAT amounts of August 2023, three-month for CIT amounts temporarily paid in the first and second quarters of the 2023 CIT calculation period. In addition, business households and individuals shall pay VAT and PIT of 2023 by December 30, 2023 at the latest; 6-month extension for 50% of the arising land rent payable in 2023. Taxpayers subject to the extension shall send a request for extension of one-time payment of tax and land rent for the entire tax amount. If the application for extension is not submitted at the same time as the tax return, the deadline for submission is September 30, 2023.
