Provincial Trade Union gets animated with patriotic emulation movements

Being imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching of "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism must emulate", provincial Trade Union has launched many patriotic emulation movements among civil servants and laborers. These movements aroused the spirit of emulation and creativity of employees in each field and position, contributing to successfully implementing tasks of units, enterprises and localities.

Emulating ardently, working creatively

Over the past time, patriotic emulation movements were widely launched by provincial trade unions at all levels among trade unionists and employees. Noticeably, the emulation movements of  "Working well, working creatively”, "One million initiatives to overcome difficulties, being creative and determined to win the Covid-19 pandemic" ... attracted a large number of trade unionists and workers, with tens of thousands of valuable initiatives. In particular, many initiatives showed the creativity of workers during the complicated pandemic period and were highly adaptable to the "new normal" context, promptly responding to working requirements of agencies and units. There were many initiatives with high profit-making value, contributing to increasing labor productivity, reducing costs, bringing high economic benefits to enterprises...

For example, the initiative of "Reducing waste products at the stage in the production process to increase the rate of finished products and product quality" by Trinh Phong Nha, Saigon Stec Co., Ltd., in the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park II has helped reduce errors arising at the image sensor mounting stage. It has helped the company reduce the cost of defective goods by more than VND 340 million per month.

Or Tran Huy Truong, Head of the Labor Safety and Hygiene Department of PungKook Saigon 3 Factory under PungKook Saigon 2 Co., Ltd. in Thuan An city has the initiative of "Connecting 2 air compressor stations" to provide gas serving the operations for the factory in the company.

With the initiative of "Improving the efficiency of VAC line 1 Model 21A", Nguyen Thanh Son, from Midea Consumer Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. in VSIP I has also contributed to bringing the annual benefit of more than VND 1.1 billion to the company.

Contributing to enterprises ‘development

These movements aroused the spirit of emulation and creativity of employees in each field and position, contributing to successfully implementing tasks of units, enterprises and localities while improving the material and spiritual lives of employees.

Dang Thi Kim Chi, President of VSIP’s Trade Union said that the Trade Union has regularly launched emulation movements among workers, saving raw materials, increasing productivity and quality. This is one of the Trade Union’s key activities. Some typical emulation movements included "Working well-Working creatively", "Promoting technical innovations, initiatives", "Good at workplace, responsible to housework”, "Emulating in learning to improve qualifications at requirements of integration and development", "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring laborer safety and hygiene"...

“Through the movements, there have been many innovations, promoting production, increasing operational productivity and efficiency, contributing to ensuring high quality products, contributing to improving production-business efficiency, helping enterprises overcome difficulties, stabilize and develop sustainably. In 2021 only, the patriotic emulation movement attracted a large number of trade unionists and workers with thousands of initiatives to bring the benefit of more than VND 500 billion to enterprises”, said Mrs.Chi.

Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said that in the first months of this year, provincial trade unions at all levels continued promoting patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Trade Union among civil servants and employees. In particular, the units focused on concretizing the theme of 2022’s activities of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, provincial Labor Union in the emulation movements of "Working well-working creatively", "Good at workplace, responsible to housework”, "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety and health", "One million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, being creative and being determined to win the Covid-19 pandemic" ... associated with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle.

In addition, the units effectively and creatively implemented emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, focusing on 4 movements: "The whole country joining hands to build new-style rural areas", "Vietnamese enterprises with integration and development", "The whole country joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" and "Officers, civil servants and employees emulate the implementation of workplace culture"; responded to the emulation movements of "Unity, creativity", "Good people, good deeds" launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee...

The movements attracted a large number of trade unionists, employees in province-based agencies, units and enterprises with thousands of technical innovations and initiatives, bringing thousands of billions of dong to enterprises. “In order to opportunely encourage and spread the spirit of enthusiasm and creativity, provincial trade unions at all levels also organized to praise and reward trade unionists and employees’ technical initiatives recognized by units and enterprises. The units also asked for provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Prime Minister to reward them", Mrs. Loan.
