Provincial Youth Union Secretary: Grassroots-level activities promoted

Over the past time, with high determination in the realization of the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Youth Union congress for the 2017-2022 tenure, provincial Youth Unions at all levels improved their operations in both content and form. For greater concern, Binh Duong Daily had an interview with Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union about achievements done in the 2017-2022 mid-term and orientations in the coming time.

Improvement in content and form

-What’s your assessment of achievements done by provincial Youth Union in the mid-term of 2017-2022?

-Provincial Youth Unions at all levels in the last mid-term made a lot of improvements in both content and form in all aspects with effective models implemented, contributing to educating political ideology, morality and lifestyle among young workers. They also diversified its operations in line with each targeted group...

In addition, provincial Youth Unions at all levels realized diversification in uniting and gathering young workers at lodging facilities. So far, there have been 25 clubs connecting young workers with more than 1,000 members from 40 companies. Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have continued having close coordination with agencies and units to promote grassroots-level activities, thereby upholding the role of young workers in socio-economic development, step by step contributing to building the local civilized urban and cultural lifestyle…

Upholding effective models

-Which measures has provincial Youth Union Standing Committee stepped up to successfully realize the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Youth Union congress?

-To victoriously carry out the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Youth Union congress, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will bring into full play effective models with focus on boosting grassroots-level activities in association with honoring role-models at historical relic sites, workplaces for traditional education, creating a motivation for young workers to try harder.

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will also promote models on civilized urban construction; environmental protection; propaganda on prevention of drugs, injuries, accidents and abuse in children; traditional education through journeys “following tradition for sustainable future”. Moreover, provincial Youth Union will strengthen activities taking care of Youth Union members, especially young workers and their children.

Provincial Youth Union will also uphold models on education of life skills; enhance reading culture among teenagers and children; continued making IT application in management and organization; put focus on well realizing education among teenagers and children, thereby contributing to the cause of national development and construction.

Provincial Youth Union has always planned to reinforce and develop its organization; made efforts in well realizing coordination with mass organizations, socio-economic organizations and families in education among youngsters; continued upholding social resources in supporting youngsters.

For Youth Union members, they need to try harder on study, training towards the solid foundation in terms of ideology, morality and career, contributing to building up a more and more prosperous Binh Duong.
