Provincial “Youth with traffic culture” festival 2016 kicks off

On May 8, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Traffic Safety Committee and Honda Vietnam Company held the “Youth with traffic culture” festival 2016 at provincial Junior College of Technology and Trade Union Skills. Attending the event were leaders of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the National Traffic Safety Committee, provincial People’s Committee together with more than 1,200 Youth Union members, workers, pupils and students in the province.

The festival took very vibrantly with many significant activities, including presenting 10 gifts to victims of traffic accidents; signing a commitment well realizing targets of the Traffic Safety Year between provincial Youth Union, its branches and provincial Traffic Safety Committee; giving sets of propaganda products on traffic safety for youth union branches; organizing a parade propagandizing traffic safety; donating 1,000 helmets to young workers, students…

The event aimed to raise the local youngsters’ awareness of seriously complying with the Law on Road Traffic, minimizing traffic accidents.
