On July 14th, Fatherland Front of Thuan An City held a meeting of religious and ethnic dignitaries over the first 6 months of 2022 and set out direction and tasks of the last 6 months.

Thuan An City currently has 73 establishments, addresses and groups of six religions: Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Cao Dai, Islam, Hoa Hoa Buddhism with 83 dignitaries, 136 positions, 148 monks and more than 43,000 followers. Most religious establishments joined hands to implement well projects, practices of localities, such as: the construction of urban civilization, environmental protection...

On Lunar New Year, The Buddha Festival occasions, religious organizations mobilized donations to give more than 3,000 gifts to disadvantaged households with a total cost of VND 920 million. Religious organizations, establishments, and the Chinese community also supported Fund for the Poor, unexpected hardship subsidies with a total value of nearly VND 128 million...

Speaking at the meeting, Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong, Party Secretary of Thuan An City, hoped that in the coming time, religious and ethnic establishments in the area would continue to maintain close relationships and always live a good life. Fatherland Front of the city, religious and ethnic groups would actively grasp fully and promptly the thoughts and aspirations of the people of all religions and ethnic groups, and report to the authorities to have solutions in accordance with the law. Religious and ethnic groups need to coordinate well with localities to carry out the project of building urban civilization in the coming time...
