Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Phu Giao district’s Study Promotion Society yesterday held a ceremony to award scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils in 2017.

Accordingly, there were 14 poor-but-excellent pupils awarded scholarships worth VND5million and VND10million each. It is known that the scholarships-awarding program has a total value of VND90million, including VND30million from Binh Duong Agriculture-Forestry Joint Stock Company and VND60million from Le Van Dung in HCM city.

Over the past time, along with the attention of authorities at all levels, organizations and donors in and out of the district actively contributed to the local cause of education via such significant activities as awarding scholarships, bicycles to poor-but-excellent pupils, helping them surmount difficulties and further gain high achievements in study.
