Scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Early August 23, Thuan An city’s Labor Union held a ceremony awarding “Making dreams come true” scholarships and gifts to needy civil servants and laborers ‘offspring with good academic results in 2020 (photo).

At the ceremony, 287 scholarships were given for poor-but-excellent pupils. Each scholarship included VND500,000 together with a schoolbag, notebooks…Provincial Labor Union also offered 15 “Making dreams come true” scholarships from P&G worth VND1million each together with notebooks, books, pencils…to poor-but-excellent pupils.

This is one of practical activities annually done by provincial Labor Union and some units at the beginning of the new academic year, helping them further pursue their learning, especially in the current context of Covid-19 pandemic.
