Seminar on improving the quality of People's Council activities

On April 21, the Provincial Party Committee, a delegate of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council coordinated to organize a seminar on activities of the Provincial People's Council’s Boards, the Office of Provincial National Assembly’s Delegation, and the Provincial People's Council. Participants of the seminar was Ta Thi Yen, Deputy Director of the National Assembly Deputies' Working Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; delegates of provinces and cities in the southeast region.

The seminar discussed and shared experience on a number of issues, such as: Experience in improving the verification quality of reports and draft resolutions submitted to the Provincial People's Council’s meeting; working relationships between the Provincial People's Council’s Boards and the Office of Provincial National Assembly’s Delegation and Provincial People's Council; the application of information technology into the operation of People's Council in order to save costs for its locality...

At the seminar, many opinions on the verification of draft resolutions, especially in the context of the covid-19 pandemic, were proposed; coordinated activities between NA’s Delegation Office and People's Council’s Boards in applying the common office model and efficiency... Many ways of doing well in activities and operations of People's Council were shared by the delegates. Many recommendations were given to ensure the quality of the Office’s operation and Boards in order to help these units overcome limitations and obstacles and operate better.
