In a jubilant atmosphere to celebrate the 88^th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Party, along with the development of the whole country’s Youth Union movements, young people in Song Be, Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc have also constantly developed and upheld their strength, contributing to socio-economic development and improving people’s spiritual-material lives.

A get-together to mark the 88^th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2019) was grandly held at Vinh Loi war zone historical relic site in Tan Uyen town with the participation of nearly 500 delegates.

This was a chance for Youth Union officials of Song Be-Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc over periods to meet and review their young time with contributions to the revolutionary cause in general and the Youth Union task in particular. The program also contributed to vigorously upholding solidarity between the governments and people of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and the Youth Unions of the two localities.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President said that Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc have developed together with the country, but are still slow compared to the region and the world. Hence, young people’s great and glorious responsibility is to build up a more and more prosperous country to be well matched with powerful countries, contributing to making Viet Nam a strong, independent, prosperous and democratic country with an equitable and civilized society…

On this occasion, the organizers held a lot of significant activities such as offering incense, floral wreaths to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Monument of Vinh Loi war zone; organizing an art performance on “Pride of the 88-year tradition of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union”, a film show on “Following the tradition for sustainable future”. In the framework of the program, Youth Union officials over periods delivered speeches on Youth Union task. The program also honored former Youth Union officials; presented 13 mementoes “For Young Generation”; offered the Binh Duong Young Talent Awards 2019 to 4 outstanding individuals; awarded 20 scholarships worth VND2million each to Youth Union officials’ offspring with good academic results in the 2018-2019 academic year; held a program in celebration of the 88^th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union…
