Renewal guideline of the Party, State was like a cool wind blowing new vitality into businesses. Many enterprises in Binh Duong have strongly grown from this renewal.

Minh Long 1 (Thuan An Township) is a typical example, boldly innovated their production from manual to industrial and semi-industrial method with machinery and equipment. The years 1995-1996 were the golden age of Minh Long ceramic, with 98% of the products were exported. The company was expected to become the "leader" of provincial ceramic industry. Ly Ngoc Minh, Chairman of Directors’ Board cum CEO of the company, said that when modern machinery of Europe had been brought to the company, products got very good quality but the price was too high, due to increased production costs. Meanwhile, European customers and domestic customers did accept the price. Therefore, he decided to invest in modern machinery for production.

After many attempts to find a solution to reduce costs by investing in production technology, his company succeeded. At present, the company make many unique works, such as Ngoc Thang Long bowl, Sen Vang cup... Mr. Minh shared, to achieve success, he never gave up his dream, or let the will to fall down.

Successful application of one-time burning technology in production helps Minh Long to compete and achieve a good position on the world market. That success has been the inspiration for Minh Long Company to keep improving to bring products closer to the community. Mr. Minh said:  "What makes Minh Long 's success is the two most important ones: each of Minh Long' s products has the highest content of science, technology, and cultural identity is expressed boldly on each product of Minh Long”. From its outstanding features, Minh Long's products always find ways to lower its price so that low-income people are able to approach, be proud, most of all, to be safer and ensure good health of customers when using Minh Long ceramic products.

Looking back on the development process, Mr. Minh concluded: "My success and Minh Long Company’s today success came from good karma. It was the words of former General Secretary Do Muoi helped me form my dream of "Making ceramic products to bring Binh Duong name to the world”. The next lucky thing was that on the way of starting a business, not only my business but also other enterprises in Binh Duong province have received the attention and support of provincial leaders and functional agencies. This sincerity made Binh Duong’s extraordinary power that many places have not done. After more than 50 years of founding and running a business, I am now confidently saying, "Without Binh Duong, Minh Long would not be able to have this day."
