On July 17, the 12th session of the provincial People’s Council, term VIII spent much time to make clear some contents concerned by voters, deputies. On behalf of the provincial People’s Committee, Le Thanh Cung recorded voters and the provincial People’s Committee deputies’ contributions and petitions relating to the provincial People’s Committee’s management on socio-economy and national defense and security in the first half of this year. Solving difficulties for enterprises The provincial authority leader affirmed “solving difficulties and supporting enterprises to develop production and business are especially paid and steered by the provincial People’s Committee and considered as important mission to spur economic growth and ensure social welfare. Simultaneously, the provincial administration works actively and positively with ministries and central agencies to petition problems beyond competence for the sake of solving obstacles and assisting businesses in production and business". Regarding the extremist acts on May 13 and 14, 2014 impacting on some enterprises' production and business, the provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that this was a pity incident out of expectation of local administration and people. After the incident, the local administration timely held encouragement visits to the affected businesses as well as launched measures of the Government. "Until now, enterprises have resumed their operation. Investors believe in the Government and provincial administration's settlement measures. Thenceforth, enterprises feel secured in production and business and investment environment has continued being improved, so investment attraction keeps increasing highly", Cung said. A big construction demand Voters and deputies' big concern includes stagnancy of some traffic infrastructure works. The provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that the main reason of stagnancy lies in site clearance. The affected works consist of the expanded DT741 road, DT744, My Phuoc-Tan Van roads, among others. Therefore, the provincial People's Committee steers localities to apply all policies into solving requirements and petitions of people and simultaneously strengthens mobilization and explanation people policies of site clearance and compensation. In addition, the provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung explained some contents of depression and traffic jam on Huynh Van Luy road and measures for settlement; farm produce consumption; implementation progress of the national goal program on new rural building, among others. Striving to complete 2014's plans According to the provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung, aside from the done achievements, the local socio-economic situation still encounters difficulties. Domestic and international situations are very complicated, especially East Sea situation, impacting on socio-economy and national defense and security. Amid the situation, the provincial People's Committee keeps launching drastically implementation of groups of measures, striving to complete the set plans in 2014. "The local authority will focus on launching planning and supplementation of local socio-economic development in attachment to urban planning, implementation of goals and missions of 2014's socio-economic growth, acceleration of budget collection; synchronous implementation of investment promotion measures; promotion of market management and so on", the provincial People's Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung added. Besides, the provincial People's Committee will keep implementing synchronously assistance measures to help enterprises develop production and business, improve investment environment, encourage enterprises to renovate technology.
