Tan Uyen recognized as a third-class city

According to Ngo Quang Su, Vice-Chairman of Tan Uyen town, the Ministry of Construction has just approved a scheme recognizing Tan Uyen town as a third-class city, which will be announced by provincial People’s Committee in the coming time.

With efforts in green-clean-nice urban development, the town has met criteria of a third-class city in terms of urban infrastructure, environment, culture-society, sports and verdure. The rate of the local solid and daily waste collected has so far  reached more than 90% and there are now been 100% of households in use of power and clean water. Noticeably, the average income per capita of the local people is double compared to the average level of the whole country.

The Ministry of Construction also stressed that the town needs to increase housing fund for workers and make a safe plan before the impacts of industrial development on environment towards a green-clean and nice city.
