Tan Uyen’s conference for role-models between 2010 and 2015 opens

Tan Uyen town has just forwarded a conference for role-models in the 2010-2015 period with the attendance of more than 350 delegates, including leaders of the town’s sectors, mass organizations, communes, wards and representatives of outstanding collectives, individuals in the town.

Over the past five years, the town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and mass organizations issued documents extending emulation work, thereby upholding the integral strength of the local political system and people. Along with emulation movements implemented animatedly in all aspects, the district paid attention to speeding up “paying debt of gratitude” movements; developing the local fund for the poor. National defence-security herein were also ensured.

Many outstanding collectives and individuals were discovered from the local emulation movements. Accordingly, the district’s Party Committee Office was awarded the certificate of merit of the Prime Minister. The town’s People’s Committee also honored 242 outstanding collectives, households and individuals.

On this occasion, Tan Uyen town also launched the 2015-2020 patriotic emulation movement.

*Bau Bang district’s Farmers Association has also just held a conference for outstanding farmers in the 2010-2015 period with the attendance of 74 outstanding farmers representing more than 8,000 cadres, members of the association.

Over the past five years, the district’s emulation movement “Good farmers in business and production” reached a width and depth-in development. Many outstanding farming households were also discovered from the emulation movement.

There were 22,188 members winning the “good farmer” title at all levels. Among them, 98 were recognized as good farmers at central level; 1,000 at district level and 3,336 at grassroots level.

On this occasion, the association also awarded the certificates of merit of the district’s People’s Committee to 12 collectives and 29 individuals for their excellent achievements in the 2010 and 2015 patriotic emulation movement.
