Early March 10, Tan Uyen city’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with Lien Hoa Buddhist temple to present 300 gifts, including cash and necessities, to people with difficult circumstances in Tan Uyen city and North Tan Uyen district. It is known that each gift is worth VND 600,000, funded by donors via Lien Hoa Buddhist temple with the goal of supporting difficult cases.

This was a practical activity done by the city’s Red Cross Society to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Tan Uyen town - Tan Uyen city (April 1, 2014 - April 1, 2024), thereby promoting the spirit of “mutual love, mutual affection” and sharing of the community for difficult cases.

*On the same day, Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Thanh commune and Minh Thanh pagoda organized a "zero-dong” spring market - spreading love" to give gifts for those with difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the Organization Board distributed 400 shopping vouchers to the blind and disadvantaged people in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Thanh, Minh Tan and Minh Hoa communes. The market included 46 "zero-dong" items to serve people. The total value of the market was VND 200 million, supported by nun Thich Nu Quang Thanh, Head of Minh Thanh Pagoda, Buddhist followers and donors.

This meaningful market not only brought joy to disadvantaged people, but also contributed to spreading humanistic values ​​and sharing love with everyone.
