TDM City, Ben Cat town, Dau Tieng district, Phu Giao district, Bau Bang district: Socio-economic condition in 2015 keeps growing

* Morning Dec 17, TDM City People's Council convened the 17^th session of the 2011-2016 tenure. This was a very important meeting to evaluate achieved results in socio-economic development of the city in 2015; put forward resolutions for the successful implementation of development objectives in fields of economy, culture, society, national defense and security in 2016.

Implementing the resolution, economic sector of TDM City maintained a growth of 26.83%, economic structure was shifted towards service-industry-agriculture corresponding to 60.90% - 39.01% - 0.09%. Total retail sales of goods and services reached VND70,520 billion, increasing 40.4% year-on-year, achieving 153.6% target. Per capita income was VND81.6 million / person / year. Total budget revenues reached VND2,557 billion, or 130.3% target. Regarding capital construction, the city disbursed VND845 billion, achieving 115% target. Cultural and social field was taken good care, 100% schools were solidified, 78.6% schools have more than 2 floors; the percentage of schools meeting national standards is 66%. With many measures, TDM City reduced 317 poor households, completing 109% target.

According to district People’s Council’s report, the socio-economic, defense-security condition in 2015 continued to develop. Total production value reached VND2,610.380 billion, increasing 11.6% year-on-year, achieving 100.2% target; per capita income reached VND36 million/person/year; people’s living standard was improved; political security, social order and safety was maintained. In 2016, the district will strive for production growth rate of 13.37%, per capita income of VND39.5 million, 90% communes meeting new rural construction standards.

In 2015, agricultural and forestry production value reached VND3,382 billion, meeting year-target; industrial-handicraft production value reached VND2,358 billion, achieving 95.06% target, increasing 7.33% year-on-year. Total retail sales of goods and services was VND2,890 billion, reaching 99.31%, increasing 19.18% year-on-year. Percentage of households using electricity, clean water increased. Poor household rate fell by 0.91%; created jobs for 2,800 workers. Enlistment reached 100% target. The district also completed new rural construction at 5 communes: Tam Lap, Long An, Phuoc Sang, An Linh, An Thai. Political security, social order and safety was stabilized.

This was a meeting convened at year-end to evaluate achieved results in 2015 and put forward orientations, tasks in 2016. Implementing the resolution, economic sector in the district gained high growth rate; many targets were surpassed. Namely, industrial production value reached VND11,701.2 billion, increasing 29.5%; total retail sales of goods and services reached VND1,781.6 billion, increasing 23%; total budget revenue reached VND653.4 billion… Regarding education, 7/7 communes were recognized to meet preschool education universalization criteria, high school graduation rate in the 2014-2015 school year was 90.24%... Social security – order was secured.
