TDM city’s 4th “Don ca tai tu” exchange program 2022 absorbs artists

The 4^th “Don Ca Tai Tu” (southern folk music) Exchange Program of Thu Dau Mot city took place at the city’s Traditional House.

The program absorbed many artists from Phu Cuong ward and Phu Tan ward’s “Don Ca Tai Tu” clubs, with music performance by artists, namely Kieu My, Phuong Thuy, Nhu Y and Minh Tri. During the program, artists sang and harmonized 10 “Don Ca Tai Tu” items in praise of Vietnamese revolutionary traditions, the Party and Uncle Ho, the art of “Don Ca Tai Tu”... and performed 1 “cai luong” (reformed opera) excerpt, namely “Ben cau det lua” (Weaving silk by the bridge).

The program was organized by Thu Dau Mot city’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports to create conditions for the local artists to exchange and share experience in “don ca tai tu” activities, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the artistic value of “Don Ca Tai Tu” in the city.
