On December 9, Thu Dau Mot city’s Red Cross Society held a conference to review its activities in 2022, set out directions and tasks for 2023.
In 2022, the city’s Red Cross Society and its branches deployed and replicated models, including volunteers ‘club; built and repaired “Red Cross” houses; helped members develop home based economic models; implemented voluntary blood donation activities, the Tet program for the poor, the campaign "Each organization, each individual should attach to a humanitarian address"... They also mobilized organizations and individuals to help over 115,890 people, with a total value of over VND 13.6 billion.
On this occasion, 6 individuals were awarded the mementoes "For the cause of humanity"; 40 collectives and individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and provincial Red Cross Society. The city’s Red Cross Society also awarded 12 gratitude boards to organizations and individuals with contributions to its humanitarian work.
