TDM City to launch to action month of drug prevention and fighting

Morning June 22, at Nguyen Du Park (Phu Cuong ward), Steering Committee 138 of TDM City held a ceremony to respond to Drug prevention and fighting’s Action Month, International Day of Drug Prevention and Fighting, and All people fighting against drug’s day 2018. More than 400 officers, soldiers, students, youth union members, and people in the area took part in the ceremony.

In recent years, drug prevention, fighting in TDM City achieved many important results, contributed to the stability and development of the local. In the first 6 months this year, with professional measures and support of the movement All people protecting the national security, functional forces detected and handled 51 cases, arrested 76 subject, illegally storing and transporting narcotics. Responding to Drug prevention and fighting’s Action Month, International Day of Drug Prevention and Fighting, and All people fighting against drug’s day themed "Protecting the young generation from drug abuse", TDM City focused on enhancing the dissemination to all people, especially the younger generation, in order to create a positive change from awareness to actions in prevention and fighting against drug crimes and addiction...

After the ceremony, participants took part in parades to raise the effectiveness of the movement “The entire population to participate in drug prevention and fighting”, step by step repel drug out of social life, build up a healthy living environment in the community.
