Telecommunications cables get underground at roads in 6 localities

The localDepartment of Information and Communications has just issued a document to agencies, units, telecommunications and cable television businesses in the province about the Department of Information and Communications’ coordination in implementing the underground installation of telecommunications cable lines at roads in Tan Uyen city, Ben Cat town, Phu Giao district and cities of Thu Dau Mot, Thuan An, and Di An.

In order for the implementation to follow the schedule, the Department of Information and Communications informs the agencies and units that are managing and operating the information cable network in service of security and defense to actively contact the units of investors of underground infrastructure for support to use underground sewers and tanks for underground cable lines under their management. At the same time, agencies and units send personnel to participate in the supervision and recovery of cable cars of their units (if any). People's Committees of districts, towns and cities direct relevant specialized departments and commune-level People's Committees to support propaganda and ensure traffic safety and order during the cutting and recovery of cable routes locally.
