Mr. Le Thanh Son, the Principal of the school, informed that Hung My Elementary School had 3 campuses and the place was of fewest students who were mainly poorest.Thus, the gifts were precious to them.On the date of gift offering, Nguyen Trong Vinh, student of Class 4C was present every early. Vinh was the youngest child of his family of two older sisters working to support the family. Poverty was persisting, thus, receiving gifts before Tet was his greatest joy.Like many other school students in the border areas, Ho Ngoc My, a grade 5 student, is dependent on rice crops. For Tet, they have to be under burdens to make ends meet.Son said that the efforts of charity drives were to support and encourage them to go to school.
