Tet gifts given for disadvantaged people

*Province-based Industrial Parks’ Trade Union from February 2 to 6 presented 1,600 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each together with 165 free bus tickets to workers with difficult circumstances.

*On February 6, representative of Procter & Gamble Company visited and donated Tet gifts worth VND100mln, including baby diapers and food for Tet, to orphans at Que Huong charity center, Tu Tam Nhan Ai center and provincial Center for Orphans.

Along with giving Tet gifts to children with difficult circumstances, the company has continuously awarded scholarships to those having poor circumstances with good academic results across the province.

*Late February 5, provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 30 gifts worth VND200,000 each, including milk, confectionary and soft drink, for poor children in Tan Vinh Hiep commune, partially helping them enjoy a joyful and happy Tet.

*Kien Long Joint Stock Commercial Bank’s Binh Duong Branch has just presented 100 gifts to needy cases in TDM city’s Phu Loi ward. Each gift is worth VND250,000, comprising of rice, food and cash.

On the occasion of the 2015 Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival, the bank is expected to give 6,800 gifts for needy households in 26 provinces and cities nationwide. In Binh Duong, its branch will offer 250 gifts to those with difficulties in TDM city, Di An, Thuan An and Ben Cat towns.

* The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV)’s Binh Duong Branch has just donated 350 Tet gifts to the Center for Lonely Elderly People in Thuan An town’s An Son commune. Each gift is worth VND300,000, including necessaries for Tet and cash.

This was part of the branch’s social charity activities done from February 2 to 6 in order to give Tet gifts worth VND450mln for 1,700 social policy beneficiaries across the province.
