The 10th tenure People’s Council regular session 2023 with focal discussion about trouble-shooting socio-economic development

The Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council has just coordinated with the provincial People's Committee and the Standing Board of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee to organize a joint conference to agree upon the time, content and agenda of the regular mid-term meeting of 2023 of the 10th provincial People's Council. At this meeting, the Provincial People's Council focused on discussing solutions to remove difficulties and promote socio-economic development.

Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council, said that the regular meeting of mid-2023 and the 10th term provincial People's Council will take place on July 20 and 21 to consider 24 reports, 1 notice, 5 verification reports, 27 submissions and 28 draft resolutions. The People's Council focuses on objectively and comprehensively assessing the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 6 months of 2023; as well as, defining goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development, maintaining defense and security in the last 6 months of 2023.

The meeting considers and decides on other important local matters of proposing solutions to remove difficulties and promote socio-economic development, government's Investments, construction planning, urban general planning, and continual review to solve problems for commercial and social housing projects, solutions to promote administrative reforms and solutions to the health and education sectors, ensuring national defense - security, social order and safety. Along with that, the reports are considered under the provisions of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and the People's Council, querries and answers.

Before the meeting, from June 12 to 16, the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council coordinated with the Standing Board of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Standing Committee of the People's Councils of districts, towns and cities in the province to organize for delegates of the People's Councils to contact voters to listen to people's thoughts and aspirations so that the provincial People's Council has recognized, absorbed and solved pressing problems, especially solutions to remove difficulties for businesses, public investment, social security care, settlement and establishment for the public labor, urban management, traffic jams, security and order and issues related to administrative procedures.

Nguyen Van Loc, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, agreed on the time, content and agenda of the meeting. The Chairman of the provincial People's Council noted that the leaders of the departments and branches should carefully prepare relevant contents to ensure the quality and schedule to submit to the mid-2023 meeting. The Chairman of the provincial People's Council proposed to the leaders of the departments and branches to coordinate with the departments of the provincial People's Council to carefully prepare the contents on schedule to submit to the mid-2023 meeting and well organize the program of contacting voters before and after the meeting.
