The 15th session of the 8th Tenure People’s Council to approve 9 major contents

Late March 26, Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Council coordinated with Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee, Binh Duong Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee to organize a joint meeting to agree upon the organization schedule of 15^th session of the 8^th tenure People’s Council. Attending the meeting was Mr. Pham Van Canh, permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee cum Chair of People’s Council, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Chair of People’s Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi, member of Party Committee Standing Board cum Chair of Binh Duong Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee.

The meeting is to consider the removal and election of key officials of People’s Committee and People’s Council in 2011-2016 tenure while considering and deciding on some major matters of the locality to reduce agenda of mid-year session and preserve more time for discussion of socio-economic development and answering the proposals of voters and inquiries of delegates of People’s Council.

Some major agendas are presented at the meeting including submission and draft resolution on adjusting and supplementing regulations on management and use of transportation road maintenance against motorbikes in the province, the submission and draft resolution on adjusting and supplementing the listing of projects and constructions under land-use revoke and changing land-use purposes for rice plants in 2015, the submission introducing personnel for election of Deputy Chair of People’s Council for 2011-2016 tenure, submission introducing personnel for election of permanent member of the 8^th tenure People’s Council for 2011-2016 tenure. The 15^th session is expected to be organized on April 17, 2015.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Canh requested Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee to thoroughly prepare the related contents to be presented at the upcoming session.
