The Central Coordinating Office surveys new rural construction in Phu Giao District

On August 12, a delegation in charge of surveying National Target Program Project on New Rural Construction period 2021 - 2025 of the Central Coordinating Office had a meeting with Phu Giao District People's Committee on implementation results over period 2016 - 2020.

At the meeting, Phu Giao District Steering Committee for New Rural Construction reported some results of the program in Phu Giao over the past 5 years. The district has now 10/10 communes to be recognized to meet new rural construction standards, of which Tan Hiep commune met advanced standards. Phu Giao District has completed a dossier requesting the Central' recognition of New Rural Construction district. The district currently has 1 commune that is developing a model new rural construction; the remaining 9 communes built advanced new rural construction. Over the past 5 years, the total resource mobilized for new rural construction in the whole district reached more than VND3,513 billion.

After the actual survey, Pham Duy Khanh, head of the survey delegation, noted many good practices, outstanding results of Phu Giao district in recent years; also difficulties of the district in implementing new rural construction to propose to the Central Steering Committee.
