Yesterday's morning (15-9), Vice Chairman Tran Van Nam hosted a meeting of Steering Committee to implement the Environmental Protection Scheme for basin of Dong Nai river system in the province from 2010 to 2020.  Dong Nai river system flows through the Binh Duong territory, including the Saigon River, Dong Nai River and Be River, and is a source of water for living and production in the province.

 

Monitoring results showed that tendency of decreasing water quality in Dong Nai river system not only affected people's lives but also affected the process of socio-economic development of the province.  PPC will continue handling establishments causing environmental pollution to improve efficiency and environmental quality of the water quality of the Dong Nai river system. PPC will also control, prevent and minimize the increasing pollution, increase investment in projects to build infrastructure, and promote socialization, awareness and responsibility of the community.
