The work of taking care of material and spiritual life of all people, especially workers, people having difficult circumstances, gained many practical results. The province gradually strengthened and improved the quality of healthcare activities. Education and training returned to normal and achieved good results. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities also received attention. The province hosted a very successful Provincial Sports Games. The mass and high-performance sports movements continued to develop; the provincial athletes attended sea Game 31, made an important contribution to the overall achievement of the country. Binh Duong Innovation Region was honored as being in the top 21 Smart Community Forum (ICF) and is preparing for the top 7 ICF Honors event in June 2022.

To unit and overcome difficulties and challenges

At the conference, the participants clarified the good results achieved as well as shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security protection in the first six months of the year. The discussions reflected the efforts and determination of each level, each sector and each locality in performing tasks, while pointing out causes of limitations and shortcomings...

Concluding the conference, Nguyen Van Loi said that in the first six months of the year, the domestic and international situation still faced difficulties and challenges, but thanks to the effective control of the pandemic, especially the effort and high determination of the whole political system into fighting the disease and striving to implement socio-economic development tasks in the last months of 2021, it has motivated the province to achieve many good results in all fields over the first 6 months. 7/18 indicators exceeded the annual targets, the remaining indicators maintained stable growth and are likely to complete the targets by the end of the year.

Nguyen Van Loi asked administration branches and levels to focus on checking each job, especially those with difficulties, problems and low results in the first 6 months, to give more drastic directives and implementation. "With a spirit, the more difficult it is, the more united we are, the more closely we must handle the works... Only then, we are able to overcome the current difficulties, to successfully implement objectives and tasks of 2022 and the following years", the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized; at the same time, each level and each branch must focused on checking and evaluating the situation, proposing solutions, be determined to overcome difficulties for the successful implementation of objectives and tasks of the whole year 2022.

Specifically, it is necessary to focus on accelerating the construction process and approval of district socio-economic development plans, and formulate the provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period in accordance with regulations, ensuring the quality and time set out; regularly review and update the development planning of urban areas to create new development spaces and generate revenues for infrastructure investment. In particular, during the last six months, it is necessary to focus on reviewing and definitively handling the backlog in urban areas and residential areas that are causing frustration among the people, contributing to guaranteeing the urban security; continue to complete the prescribed procedures to soon invest in and exploit infrastructure of new industrial parks, especially Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park 3; solve difficulties to complete legal procedures for previously approved industrial parks. In addition, the planning and implementation of industrial cluster projects need to be accelerated to move enterprises from the southern localities to the northern areas according to the proposed plan.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested to strengthen the state management of budget revenues and expenditures. The Party Committee of Provincial People's Committee need to lead and execute to increase revenues from land resources to supplement the investment capital of provincial key projects; check all public investment projects, especially key projects to remove difficulties, accelerate investment progress and capital disbursement; pay attention to and make investment in the cultural, social, medical, education sectors; well implement social security policies; effectively handle issues of procurement of drugs and medical equipment, not to prolong the shortage of medicines; to complete and put into use the 1,500-bed General Hospital by the end of 2022; and urgently report to the Prime Minister on the preparing process for 2,000-bed hospital investment of the province; examine, invest and effectively make use of grassroots cultural institutions in the whole province...
