In particular, Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company has 7 water supply plants for urban and rural areas with a total designed capacity of 450,000m3 per day, night; The Center for Rural Irrigation Investment and Exploitation is managing and operating 31 concentrated and connected clean water supply works in 30 communes in 5 districts and towns of the province. Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company produces and sells clean water about 160,000m3 per day, night.
For drainage and wastewater treatment, the Provincial People's Committee invests in construction and operation of urban domestic wastewater collection and treatment projects. Specifically, Thu Dau Mot area, the handling capacity of 17,500m3 per day, night; Thuan An area, with a handling capacity of 17,000m3 per day, night; Di An area is 20,000m3 a day and night. The amount of urban wastewater collected and treated is about 69,650m3 per day, night, the collection rate is about 30%.
