Late December 20, Binh Duong Provincial authority and Vietnam Rubber Group held a signing ceremony to close a deal of thorough cooperation. Photo by Quoc Chien Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Vietnam Rubber Group informed the first ever cooperative deal with a provincial authority. Currently, his group has 2 rubber companies in Binh Duong Province including Dau Tieng and Phuoc Hoa with 40,000 hectares of rubber trees, 7 processing factories, and infrastructure at the cost of nearly VND 10,000 billion. Revenue of the group’s subsidiaries in Binh Duong Province is accounted for over VND 8,000 billion a year, offering jobs to 15,000 laborers and paying over VND 500 billion to the budget. Mr. Mai The Trung and Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the strategic cooperation with the group to strengthen thorough tie.
