Thu Dau Mot city launches action month for food safety and hygiene 2014

On April, Thu Dau Mot city initiated the action month for food safety and hygiene 2014. Over the past years, the work on food safety and hygiene has been always implemented by Thu Dau Mot city with many positive measures and forms. Dissemination and education on food safety and hygiene have been focused, contributing to improve and change producers, processors, traders and customers’ awareness on food quality and safety.

 

In addition, the work on inspection and post-inspection on food safety and hygiene has helped minimize violations relating to food quality and safety-hygiene. Aside from the done results, the work on ensuring food quality and safety-hygiene remains many problems.

 

In order to create a new change in improving functional agencies, businesses and customers’ role and responsibility on food safety and hygiene, the action month for quality and hygiene of food in the city ameliorates authorities, food producers and customers’ consciousness and responsibility on food safety and hygiene.

 

Right after the launching ceremony, forces took part in a parade to promulgate the message of “Action month for food safety and hygiene 2014” with the theme of “Street food’s safety” in an attempt to urge people to be wise customers in selecting and preserving foods safely for their health as well as to affirm customers’ role and right and interest in inspecting, finding and boycotting violations relating food safety and hygiene.
