Thuan An city presents 2 solidarity houses to impoverished individuals in Dien Bien province

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An city recently collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Thieu Ward to organize a delegation to visit and present a solidarity house to two families in Muong Phang commune, Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province.

In response to the program to support the construction of solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province, aiming to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, the People's Mobilization and Unity Committees at all levels in Thuan An city have intensified propaganda and mobilized all segments of the population to participate.

Two houses were donated in this round by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Thieu Ward, with funds raised and used to build houses for the families of Mr. Vang A Denh in Long Nghiu village and Mr. Lo Van On in Ban Yen 1 village. Both families are classified as poor households in the local area. The construction cost for each house is 50 million VND, with Mr. Vang A Denh's house being newly built and Mr. Lo Van On's house being repaired from an old deteriorated stilt house.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuận An City, together with the communes and wards, is mobilizing to distribute 260 gifts to students in difficult circumstances and present 25 traditional Vietnamese dresses to the teachers of Võ Nguyên Giáp Kindergarten in Muong Phang commune.
