Thuan An district Women Union just held a get-together to glorify and exchange with excellent women of local emulation movements. Many sisters have showed their role and responsibility excellently and contributed to local socio-economic development positively.

At the get-together, more than 200 deputies exchanged with 3 excellent women in local movements. They included Doan Thi Bom, chairwoman of Lai Thieu Township Elderly People Society, Tran Thi Tram, head of Thanh Hoa B Women subsociety and Ho Thi Chanh, chairwoman of An Son commune Women Society. The three women have contributed to local activities excellently.

 

Excellent women of Thuan An district are honored.

Specifically, Doan Thi Bom has joined in local women society and elderly people society since the country’s liberation. Many emulation movements of the township women society have reached high results, thanks to her positive contribution. “There are still many poor women, especially women in rural areas. I therefore hope that all level authorities, especially sisters, help them”, said Bom.

Regarding the women society’s activities, everyone think about Tran Thi Tram, head of Thanh Hoa B Women sub-society in An Thanh Township. Over the part 30 years, she has been a good teacher of Trinh Hoai Duc high school and joined in local women society’s activities positively. As a head of head of Thanh Hoa B Women sub-society since 1999, she has contributed to gathering woman members. She shared “to gather many members, firstly it is necessary to turn the organization into a common house for sisters, creating trust for them by significant deeds”.

Similarly, Ho Thi Chanh, chairwoman of An Son commune Women Society has positively engaged in the society since 2003. During 7 years of managing the local women society, she has created useful deeds, helping thousands of sisters escape poverty, building funds to produce effective small economic models. By such deeds, she in 2009 was one of the few local women that was honored by the Vietnam Central Women Union.

Over the past 5 years, Thuan An district women have upheld noble characters of Vietnamese women. From the movement of “Women are positive in study, labor, creation and happy family building”, many effective economic models have emerged such as club for re-poverty control, Club for Charity, Club for not to give birth to 3rd child, club for reproductive health, club for social evil control and so on. Particularly, club for female proprietors has lured 64 female proprietors and nearly 13,000 members.

Upholding the done results, Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, chairwoman of Thuan an district Women Union, said the society will keep holding good models to offer significant playgrounds for sisters, mobilizing members to unity and bound for the community. Besides, all level society will take resolutions into real life and boost the emulation movement of ““Women are positive in study, labor, creation and happy family building” in combination with the mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”.
