Thuan An is home to over 45 hectares of urban farming land

Thuan An town has so far had more than 45 hectares of urban farming land with 313 participating households. Of these, there are 27.5 hectares of safe vegetables with 84 participating households; 2.3 hectares of orchid with 31 participating households; over 14.36 hectares of ornamental trees with 89 participating households…

In terms of the model on urban animal husbandry, the whole town now has 21 breeding households with 179 crocodiles, 90 pythons, 418 pheasants, 3,600 swallows, 350 pigeons…

From now to year-end, the town will continue implementing urban agricultural models. The town’s functional agencies will also open 6 short-term classes for the local farmers, 1 long-term class and 6 classes on field research in wards of An Thanh, Binh Chuan and Thuan Giao.
