Early October 31, Bau Bang district’s People’s Committee held a conference to announce a master plan on regional construction for Bau Bang district to 2040, under provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No.2972/QD-UBND dated October 18, 2024. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, along with leaders from some departments, sectors of the province.
According to the master plan, Bau Bang district will be developed towards industry-services-agriculture, prioritizing industrial and service development, with a future vision of becoming the "Innovative-Industrial Hub" in the northern part of the province. Bau Bang district is identified as a "chain urban model" developing along a North-South axis, connected to Chon Thanh town of Binh Phuoc province in the north and Ben Cat city in the south, with National Highway 13 as the main corridor. The district is organized into three economic development zones, with an urban system comprising of six urban areas. The master plan also outlines directions for population growth, rural residential points, agricultural production sectors, social housing, industrial and logistics service development…The regional construction plan for Bau Bang district up to 2040 aims at concretizing the provincial planning for Binh Duong for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of Bau Bang district stated that in the coming time, the district will mobilize resources to implement the regional plan in an effective and synchronous way associated with provincial planning. Between 2025 and 2030, the district will focus on making urban investment, upgrading technical and cultural-social infrastructure to build Bau Bang into a modern and civilized city…
On this occasion, provincial leaders handed over the Bau Bang Regional Master Plan approval decision to leaders of the district.
