To improve people’s unity

Yesterday of November 18, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnamese Fatherland Committee solemnly held an anniversary of 90 years of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee (November 18, 1930 to November 18, 2020). Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Minh Triet, member of Politburo and former State’s President and Secretary of Song Be provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee,  Nguyen Van Loc, member of Standing Board cum Head of Standing Board and Head of Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, and all-time leaders of Binh Duong provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee praises collectives for their brilliant achievements in tasks of 2015-2020

Delivering a speech reviewing 90 years of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Van Loc, at the ceremony, affirmed the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh on the grand unity of the people: “Unity is our strength”, “Unity, Unity and Greater Unity / Success, Success, and Greater Success”. The People’s Front of Vietnamese Unification was founded on November 18, 1930 by President Ho Chi Minh under Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) immediately after the establishment of Communist Party of Vietnam. The rightful foundation of CPV of true political doctrines that matched the desirable wishes of the majority of the people had triggered the revolutionary liberation of the people, handing the government to the people. As the August Revolution 1945 was a success, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) was firstly founded as a worker-farmer nation in the South-east Asia at the time. That was the extremely important event of our people’s history of revolutions and struggles. That was also th first ever success of CPV thanks to people’s unity within and without Viet Minh front.

Facing all situations and challenges, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee inspired patriotism of Vietnamese domestically and oversea by gathering and increasing grand people’s unity for independence and freedom and construction of a nation of prosperity and happiness.

Inheriting and promoting brave resistance wars, in over 23 years since the re-establishment of the province and by unity, activeness and creativity, Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee has energetically contributed to effective movements and patriotism drives with focus on new movements and people’s attention like fatherland front committee system construction, new rural areas, civilized urbanity, activities of gratitude, poverty care, social well-fare, strong and transparent Party organizations, ensured national defense and security, people’s consensus, construction of a developed industrial province in the key economic zone of the South with widespread integration into international economies with vital contribution to the key economic zone of the South and the nation.

Being proud of 90 years of glory, staffs of Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee shall unite in emulation movements and determination to call for people strata to enhance and promote people’s grand unity in joint efforts of CPV and all-level authorities to promote internal resources and make use of opportunities to maintain the achievements of over 23 years of construction and development. Efforts should be jointly made to earn success of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security with participation into the construction of strong and transparent Party and State, breathing life to resolution of the 11th Party Congress aiming for making Binh Duong a center of developed industry, smart, modern and civilized urbanity.

Addressing the ceremony, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council congratulated on the achievements of all-level provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and extended sincere thank to people in the province for upholding patriotism and unity in responding to and supporting the policies and decisions made by the State and the Party.

Vo Van Minh also suggested that people’s unity should be refined with tight coordination with political and social unions to implement movements and patriotism with reformed contents and operation measures to stay close to the public with practical approaches for the success and improvement of close relationship of the people to the State and CPV.

On this occasion, Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee awarded merit certificates of Central Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee to 3 individuals of patriotism emulations in 2015-2020. Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee awarded flag of brilliant in patriotism emulation in 2015-2020 to Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee. The Standing Board of Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee also awarded 27 collectives and 90 all-level officials for the tasks in 2015-2020. Besides, Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee also awarded title banner of awarding televisions to 565 poor households to its grassroots at 9 districts, towns and cities.
