To strengthen state management of measurement for electricity meters and cold water meters

Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to strengthen state management of measurement for electricity meters and cold water meters at business establishments, lodging houses in Binh Duong province in the period of 2019- 2020.

Accordingly, Department of Science and Technology shall cooperate with relevant departments, agencies and unions, People's Committees of districts, towns and city, clubs and lodging houses to organize, perform propagation and universalization of regulations on measurement; carry out inspection and grant inspection certificates for electricity meters and cold water meters of organizations and individuals. The above-mentioned units shall open trainings on measurement expertise; survey and grasp information on business establishments, purchase and sale of electricity meters and cold water meters; conduct inspections at business establishments, and household businesses in the province.
