The Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade since early this year has teamed up with business delegations and industries’ associations to attend 7 exhibitions and fairs at home and abroad. The center together with 12 businesses in the domains of woodwork, lacquer, pottery and sculpture has also made a survey on Japanese market to promote trade activities.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, Director of the center said that the center’s annual trade promotion programs have aimed to support province-based businesses to seek trade opportunities, promote products and expand their distribution channels. The center has also upheld its effectiveness in connecting businesses with foreign and domestic expos, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of the local international integration programs.

Trade connection expanded

Europe, especially Germany is among top three big export markets of Binh Duong’s woodwork sector. The center has just coordinated with 10 businesses under Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA) to display 10 booths at the 2015 IMM expo, one of the world’s biggest interiors expos in Germany’s Cologne. According to Mrs.Trinh, the center will further give leaders of provincial Department of Industry and Trade advice on submitting the Action Program on improvement of international economic integration ability in 2015 and the next years to provincial People’s Committee. Businesses also need to further enhance their competitiveness, improve technologies to manufacture products with high quality, beautiful design and reasonable price in line with customers’ taste in each country.
