Training on mediation skills and propaganda opened for grassroots mediators

 Thu Dau Mot City Council for Dissemination of Legal Education held a conference to train mediation skills and disseminate information to 700 grassroots mediators in 14 wards of the city.

700 grassroots mediators are experts from the Office of Justice, officials of Political Center of the city, judicial-civil status officials, and heads of quarters, who have been trained by Department of Justice to apply and implement legal documents and materials related to grassroots mediation activities, legal access standards in 2024, the framework program and the set of documents for training in grassroots mediation issued by the Ministry of Justice. After the training, the mediators exchanged and discussed difficult situations to improve their knowledge and skills in the mediation process.

Training on mediation skills and propaganda skills for grassroots mediation staff aims to effectively implement the Law on Mediation at the grassroots level; improve skills and expertise for grassroots mediation staff to promptly mediate, avoid conflicts and disputes leading to violations of the law, and reduce the number of cases of complaints that go beyond the level of authority.
