Yesterday morning October 8, member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman Tran Van Nam led the survey team, including leaders of functional departments to 10 areas of heavy flooding on DT741 Street from km00 to km49 + 670, passing through districts of Ben Cat, Tan Uyen, and Phu Giao.Of the mentioned some serious flooding places are arround Hoa Loi Kindergarten and Nhat Huy Market of Ben Cat District, Tan Binh Commune market of Tan Uyen District, Phuoc Hoa Commune, Phuoc Vinh Townlet of Phu Giao District.Causes of local flooding in the mentioned areas on DT741 Street are due to lack of streetside drainage system but for drains of major routes key.Besides, by the streetside residents arbitrarily occupy the street safety barriers to open their own businesses. After surveying the site, Member of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman Tran Van Nam required local authority to propagate for removal of the people living on either side of the street and install new drain system as required.Penalties against acts of re-encroachment of street safety corridor, coercive measures, and, dismantling works shall be enforced upon impeding water drainage.As for severe local flooding in the 10 areas along the DT741 Street, departments and agencies are required to quickly overcome by constructing a sewer system ensuring the outflow of water even in heavy rains .In the long run, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the synchronized construction of sewerage systems along DT741 Street, because this is one of the major traffic routes, connecting the northern districts not only to the heart of Binh Duong Province, but also to the southern province of Binh Phuoc and provinces in the Central HighlandsReported by Chi – Thao – Dat – Translated by Vi Bao
