Voters proposed more frequently meeting with People’s Council delegates

To prepare for the upcoming ninth People’s Council session 8th term, on October 31st, delegations of provincial and Thuan An town People’s Council met voters of An Thanh ward, Binh Nham commune, An Phu ward, and Vinh Phu ward. At the meeting, voters of An Thanh ward raised opinions on issues, like: policies for former young volunteers, flooded condition near Luong The Vinh primary school, land using right dispute. Voters of Binh Nham commune pointed to low-quality ration supply at kindergarten, primary school; inadequate collecting of road tax to motorcycles; late compensation for planning of Suoi Don bridge area; seriously damaged BN02 and BN07 road…Voters of An Phu ward also presented environmental pollution condition at quarter 1B, invasion of roadsides, pavements; security order at Viet –Sing zone, household along My Phuoc – Tan Van highway have not been granted construction license…On the same day, delegations of provincial and TDM City People’s Council met voters of Tuong Binh Hiep commune. Voters proposed that People’s Councils delegates at all levels should meet voters more frequently according to principle “public servants need to be close to people”. In addition, voters also suggested specific policy addressing housing for poor households living temporarily on public lands, and governmental guarantee of price stabilization until year end.Delegates answered questions of voters and took note of remaining issues to transfer to related authorities for solutions.Reported by N.
