At the meeting, voters heard about results of the provincial People’s Council’s operations, situations on socio-economic development, national defense and security in the past 9 months and plans for the 3 remaining months of this year, contents of the 9th session of the provincial People’s Council, 8th term and achievements of Thu Dau Mot city People’s Council in 2013 and many more.

At the meeting, voters reflected many issues of flooding situation, impacting badly on local residents’ living, price stability policies, traffic order and safety and so on.

Also the same day, a delegation of the provincial and Di An town People’s Council deputies contacted voters in An Binh ward before the 9th session of the provincial People’s Council, 8th term. An Binh ward voters petitioned problems of granting land using right certificates for households in Irrigation 42 area, pollution caused by companies, factories in Binh Duong 4 area, policy for revolutionary people, flooding in some routes and among others.

In the afternoon, the delegation paid a meeting with voters in Tan Binh, Binh My and Vinh Tan communes, Tan Uyen district. Voters in these localities referred to problems of shortage of lighting system on DT741 road, complicated procedures of notary work, traffic accidents on DT747 road and so on.

In the morning of Oct. 30, a delegation of the provincial and Thuan An town People’s Council deputies met with voters in Binh Chuan ward. Accordingly, voters reflected some issues relating to behavior of medical cadres at the provincial general hospital, downgraded manholes on DT743 road, stagnancy on changing land using purpose for residents living along My Phuoc-Tan Van route, shortage of electricity at some localities and so on. Also the same day, the delegation met with voters in Hung Dinh commune to hear about problems of poverty reduction, capital assistance for the poor and among others.

Meanwhile, at Dau Tieng district, a delegation of the provincial and Dau Tieng district People’s Council deputies met with voters in Dinh Hiep, Dinh Thanh and Thanh An communes. Local voters petitioned many issues such as policy for revolutionary people, granting of land using right certificates, environmental pollution and so on.

Reps of the delegations replied voters’ queries and pledged to submit the remaining issues at the coming session.
